The work I create exhibits vast variances in methods of construction from traditional metalsmithing and jewelry design techniques, to ceramic disciplines, and experimental glass working. Inspiration is currently derived from the nomadic life style embraced as an artist and is the premise chosen to explore jewelry and dining ware. The content of the work is then expressed by redefining recognizable objects through the use of material and the context in which it is placed. Through diverse modes of alteration in the realm of sculpture, service ware, and jewelry, I assign new meaning to everyday items.
